Work the corners first. Corner letters belong to two words at once, so their green and yellow clues are the most informative.
Count yellows per word. A yellow letter in a word must stay in that word. Move it along the word, not out of it.
Plan swaps that fix two letters. The ideal swap places both letters correctly. Ten perfect swaps solve any puzzle.
