What is Countryle?

Countryle is a daily geography game where you guess a hidden country. After each guess, the game compares your country with the answer on hemisphere, continent, average temperature, population and location, telling you whether the answer is higher or lower on each, and how far away it is on the map.

Unlimited guesses are allowed, so the score is the number of countries it takes you to find the answer.

How to play Countryle

Type a country name. The comparison table shows which attributes match and which direction to move. Use the compass distance to triangulate, and keep guessing until you hit the answer.

When does the new Countryle come out?

A new Countryle unlocks at midnight in your local time zone. We publish hints and answers as soon as the puzzle is available and keep every previous day in the archive above.
