- Work the corners first. Corner letters belong to two words at once, so their green and yellow clues are the most informative.
- Count yellows per word. A yellow letter in a word must stay in that word. Move it along the word, not out of it.
- Plan swaps that fix two letters. The ideal swap places both letters correctly. Ten perfect swaps solve any puzzle.
