How to solve 7 Little Words

Read a clue, then look at the letter tiles for fragments that could form the answer. Tap the tiles in order to spell the word; if you are right it locks in and those tiles disappear. Finish all seven and the puzzle is complete. Each clue shows the number of letters in its answer, which is the most useful hint you get.

7 Little Words tips for tomorrow

  • Count the letters. Every clue shows the answer length. A nine-letter answer needs three tiles, so look for a three-tile combination.
  • Find the rare tiles. Tiles with Q, X or Z have few possible partners. Place them first.
  • Start with endings. Tiles like ING, TION and NESS almost always end a word. Pair them with the clue that fits.
